Sustainability & Environment
Organic Beverages Limited is committed to the
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Agenda 2030.

Wherever possible we will identify and implement appropriate manufacturing processes, sustainable farming practices, sustainably produced ingredients and packaging materials including logistics throughout our supply chain involved in the production of our sustainably produced beverages.

We align with the following SDG's:
SDG 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production
SDG 15 - Life on Land
and also SDG 17 - Partnerships for the Goals.

Best Practice for Environment

We have only one Earth, and its future depends on each, seemingly small,
choice of action, which depends on all of us.

We are aware of how many people tend to direct their attention first and foremost to large enterprises and see them as responsible for the poor state of the natural environment but as a start-up, we do not want to and we cannot evade the responsibility to the environment that we all share. We care for the well-being of the nature that surrounds us, so we insist that wherever possible our products are manufactured in a way to counteract any negative consequences which could be brought about by the manufacturing of packaging materials and ingredients.

The glass used in our sustainably produced beverages is manufactured using the latest technologies that incorporate the "greenest" production methods available..
- the emissions of nitric oxides are significantly reduced by dosing carbamide in two CENTAURIO towers.

- the emissions of dust is reduced thanks to a bag filter with a reactor, which means that contaminants larger than 20 mg/Nm3 are not released into the atmosphere.

- bag filters are installed which makes production less energy and noise intensive which has a positive effect on the employees’ hearing and well-being.

Furthermore, it is crucial to reduce the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere as much as possible. To this end, the EU has set maximum emission levels for larger industrial plants with the BAT (Best Available Technology) standards and an upper limit for the total amount of greenhouse gases in the EU with the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). Our glass production therefore naturally operates according to BAT standards and participates in the ETS.

Organic Beverages Limited is committed to such initiatives and we are active in seeking out other manufacturing and production methods that can only improve the quality of life for our environment and every living creature that inhabits our planet.
